Bonded over Pennies
I have a bittersweet announcement. This is the last layout I will be sharing as part of the Simple Scrapper creative team. I have loved every second of being on this team and all of the projects I've created during my two years. I've told some fantastic stories and made pages I really loved. Thank you so much to Jennifer Wilson and all of the other fantastic ladies who make working with Simple Scrapper so easy and fun!
This is a page I started way back in 2013. You see the left hand side of this layout. That was finished. But I couldn't figure out where I wanted all of the circular photos to go. So I gave up and stuck it in my to be finished box.
When I saw that the January story starter theme was Friends Forever, I knew instantly that I wanted to revisit this story. So four years later, I created the right hand side of the layout using a sketch from the the archive (No. 014 for all my fellow Simple Scrappers).
The only photo I added was one of us from 2016. I printed it in bright bold color and I like that it has this vibrancy. It's today. It's real life! Where all of the other photos are from our history together.
That great chevron paper is now vintage Carta Bella. The stamps are Kelly Purkey and I love the copper embossing powder on top of that blue! And the only other embellishing were the enamel hearts from Bella Blvd.
Once I finished the right side of the page, it was easy to tie in the left. I added strips of paper to the far edge of the layout and two little enamel hearts.
Love this girl! Love this page! Love Simple Scrapper!
Cheers & Besos,
